Jeremiah Premieres “The Legend of La Befana”
December 17, 2008 Mrs. Turner’s 7th grade class recently completed research projects in which students selected a country, researched the Christmas traditions of that country, and presented a speech with a visual component. Below is Jeremiah’s fantastic example of stop-motion animation. Talk about a “Quality Producer!”

Village President Visits
November 20, 2008We were fortunate to have our Village President, Aaron Grandgeorge, spend the entire morning with our US History classes today. Prior to his visit, students generated a number of excellent questions about local government. After a brief introduction, Village President Grandgeorge answered our questions and shared how local decisions are made. A big thanks to Mr. Grandgeorge; it was a very informative morning.
